See what team you're on and figure out where your teammates are (school, city, country)

Join Groups on the Ning
This is where you will connect and communicate everyone in the project, especially your team members.
This is for Internet safety. Anyone in the world can see your profile. We want them to know where you attend school, but not your last name or address.
Click on "My Page" (top left)
Click "Settings" (top right under your name)
Change "Full Name" to first name+last initial+_GLC
For example, Ms. Rutkowski is AshleyR_GLC and Ms. Moorman is HonorM_GLC
Click "Save" at bottom of page!
Create Your Multimedia Intro
Choose Glogster (digital poster maker) or Animoto (turns photos into videos)
Sign up for a free account using your GLC email
If you're using Animoto, ask Ms. R for the code for a free "plus" account
Use images, words, and music to introduce yourself to the other teachers and students in the NetGenEd project
Grab the HTML code to embed your Glogster/Animoto on the Flat Classroom Ning
On Glogster: Publish > copy Embed Code
On Animoto: Sharing > Embed Code > Copy Code
Find the Text Box on your "My Page" on the Ning and click "Edit" then click "HTML" and paste the code you copied (save)
Add an image to your profile (if you finish your handshake video early)
Use a school-appropriate photo of yourself or create an avatar.
